Aeon of LAM
Detail of painting in Acrylic, Watercolour and Ink on Bristol Board. I seldom put the exact date on my artwork but in this instance I chose to as 4/2 commemorates Frater Achad’s proclamation of the Incoming of the Aeon of Ma’at. This artwork compelled itself into creation up until the hour of the Day and expresses LAM as the “Gateway to the Aeon of Ma’at.” The imagery is, of course, inspired by both Crowley’s classic pencil sketch as well as Kenneth Grant’s drawing of “Desmodus” from Outer Gateways. The formula assembled in this composition is derived from one expressed in Grant’s Outside the Circles of Time, a means to fashion a vehicle of Interdimensional Travel into the Gnosis of Neither/Neither.
